There are a few Marys in the Bible, and like the others, this Mary is goals. Mary made spending time with Jesus and learning from Him a priority. She did not have to defend herself or speak up for herself in the presence of Jesus because she knew, without a doubt, that He would stick up for her. Her only goal was to soak up the time she spent with Jesus and would not let anyone get in the middle of that. Mary of Bethany is a great role model for us all. Let's be like her and make spending time with the Lord a priority.
